The tenor of these stories tilt towards endeavour, effort, achievement and greatness. The stories focus on building character, warning against unpleasant traits and imbuing the listener with positive elements. This is done thru example. Most of the characters are familiar figures with impressive histories who outdo oe another in their efforts. Children would be able to aspire towards the achivements of the characters described and to become achievers like them.
This title contains three stories from the Mahabharat epic, of which two talk about the superhuman achievements of Pandhava brothers Arjun & Bhim, while the last relates the story of how Krishna’s grace foiled just one more evil plan of wicked Duryodhan.
