Bhagwad Gita

Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita is the most sacred of all scriptures and textures of the Hindu religion because it is nothing else but the word of God.

The literal meaning of the phrase Bhagavad-Gita is �The path shown by the Lord�. It is a whole literature in itself, containing a code of life, a philosophy of social and ethical relations, and a speculative thought on human problems that is hard to rival. It is the noblest of Scripture and Greatest of Sages.

The perennial of Gita has intrigued the philosophical mind of man, both eastern and western of millennium. Understanding of Bhagavad-Gita is essential human society, for, it offers the highest perfection of life.

The essence of Gita can be said as, firstly doing one's duty to the best of ability without expectation of results, secondly perceiving that God is present equally in all human being and thirdly attaining of salvation. The aim of Gita doctrine is to lead one to tranquility, happiness and equanimity. �Don't worry, be happy: may be a modern term, but the secret of achieving this lies in Gita. The Gita doctrine is beyond religious and national boundaries.

Thus Bhagavad-Gita is the eternal message of the Lord Himself and the word of God becomes the path of enlightenment to all people, irrespective of their caste, creed, age and gender; social or economic status in the society.

Facing lot of stress and anguish day �in-and day-out, in the absence of the knowledge of right and wrong, most people in the society are reeling under hardships and troubles.

Gita is bound to show the light and happiness to everyone who listens attentively to each and every syllable of knowledge contained in it.
