Asanas: Yastik Asana

Yastik means a stick.

  • This asana stretches the entire body.
  • It helps to increase height.
  • It also helps to sure backache.


  1. Lie on the back on the floor. Place the arms over the head. The arms should touch the floor and be plaed in a relaxed manner.
  2. Inhale. While inhaling stretch the arms, legs, hands and feet in the opposite direction as much as possible.
  3. Remain in this position for 6 seconds.
  4. Exhale and come back to normal position.
