Yantra CDs & Cassettes
The word Yantra, literally meaning mystical diagram, is also associated with Indian yog traditions and esoteric practices of varied religions like Tantra.
In this album, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi sings the Yantra ?Vitthal Vitthal? in the form of a continuous chant, clearing the path for entering an enlighted world. He reveres Lord Panduranga, the Vitthal of Pandhari. Vitthal is the bestower of auspiciousness, enchanter of the heart and supporter of those afflicted and unhappy.
Acknowledged as the leading light of the Kirana Gharana, Pandit Bhimsen Gururaj Joshi is a sheer musical marvel whose singing invariably provides listeners with a divine musical experience.
